Iloilo City, Philippines – December 7, 2025 — The country’s biggest and longest-running footrace reached an electrifying finish as the 2025 National MILO® Marathon Finals crowned its newest champions at La Paz Plaza, Iloilo City. Now on its 25th race of the season, the event gathered more than 24,000 runners nationwide and set the tone for the marathon’s highly anticipated 50th anniversary in 2026.

Meet the 2025 MILO® Marathon King and Queen
This year’s race showcased exceptional talent as two rising stars clinched the top titles:
Eduardo Flores, 27, from General Santos City, delivered an outstanding performance with a time of 2:27:58, earning him the prestigious title of 2025 MILO® Marathon King.
Myrel Benignos, 22, from Negros, made history as the youngest MILO® Marathon Queen, finishing the 42K challenge in 3:15:21.

Both athletes embody the MILO® brand purpose of “nurturing grit, discipline, and teamwork to build champions in sports and in life.” Their inspiring victories reflect years of persistence, passion, and dedication—values that resonate deeply with Filipino runners across the nation.

Flores and Benignos follow in the footsteps of Richard Salaño and Christine Hallasgo, the 2024 MILO® Marathon champions who are representing the Philippines at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand.
